Well, we've gotten our itinerary!

11/13: Arrive 3:35 pm – Stay at Jianguo Hotel. http://www.hoteljianguo.com/default.htm
11/14: Hutong Tour. The Hutong Tour is essentially a tour in residential areas. Some of the houses there are hundreds of years old and still under disappearing. It is the place where you can feel the local culture, tradition and the informality of ordinary life.
11/15: 7:00 am visit Great Wall, Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City11/16: Fly to Nanjing at appx. 10:30. Stay at Hilton Nanjing. Get Aanika in the afternoon!!!! http://www.asiatravel.com/china/nanjing/hilton/
11/17: Adoption registration and notarization
11/18: Half-day city tour of Nanjing. http://www.chinapages.com/jiangsu/nanjing/nanjing.htm
11/19: Fly to Guangzhou at appx. 8:00 am – Stay at White Swan. Med check and visa pictures in afternoon. http://www.white-swan-hotel.com/eng/Public/index.asp
11/20: 3:30 pm to go consulate to take the oath
11/21: 3:00 Pick up visa and catch flight to Hong Kong. Stay at Regal Hotel http://www.regalhotel.com/mmm/site1/en_US_main.html
11/22: Come home! See ya the airport at 3:15 pm on Saturday!

Travel dates for China

We've got travel dates! We will leave for Beijing China on November 12th and will probably get to meet Aanika on November 16th in Nanjing, the capital of her province. We'll be heading for Guangzhou (southern China) for final proceedings and then on to an overnight stay in Hong Kong. We'll be back on Saturday, November 22nd!
